The health and safety of our employees are of the utmost importance to us. Based on government advice, we have activated our Business Continuity Plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that for a while our employees will be performing their roles from home, instead of from our central office location.
When I started MirrorWeb, we were a small company working on laptops around a shared kitchen table or from our own homes.
Even though we’ve outgrown that model and moved into an office, we’ve always kept the flexibility and agility that we started with. All of our employees use laptops, and our comprehensive security measures work just as well in a home office as they do in our regular office.
We’ve always taken Business Continuity very seriously, and we regularly test our plan to make sure that it is still fit for purpose. Our Business Continuity Plan and testing are also assessed annually as part of our ISO27001 certification process, and we always receive praise for how we handle it.
The servers that run our application and hold all of your data, are managed by our trusted partner AWS. Our engineers all operate this cloud infrastructure remotely under normal circumstances, so we’re accustomed to doing this and will not need to operate any differently during this crisis.
In summary, while we are going to work slightly differently behind the scenes for a while, you can rely on MirrorWeb to operate just as well as we always do.
