Problem

Tim switched from working for a broker-dealer to setting up his own RIA firm, and initially began working with one of the archiving vendors that was recommended by his compliance consultant. The company underperformed, particularly struggling with web and social media archiving. They frequently alluded to what they’d be able to capture in the future, when Tim needed those capabilities right away.

Solution

Tim had been contacted by MirrorWeb via email, which piqued his interest. He did some digging and liked what he saw, eventually connecting with the Sales team, who promptly provided all of the documentation Tim needed to make a decision. As a small (1-person at the time) firm, he was keen on the idea of an all-encompassing solution, to limit the number of vendors he’d be dealing with.

Result

Having opened conversations in December 2021, Blueprint signed with MirrorWeb in January 2022. Tim has noted that the product and service are ‘fantastic’, and that the platform is capable of capturing more dynamic web content than his previous vendor. He was also relieved that he could separate company pages from personal social media accounts so that his private information wasn’t being captured - something that MirrorWeb’s predecessor wasn’t capable of.
