Problem
The RIA in question was handling its compliance processes internally, relying on the Microsoft Office Litigation Hold feature, which wasn’t very user-friendly. The firm was getting to a point in their business operations where they ‘could start affording nicer toys’. As well as email, social media and messaging platforms, they needed a web archiving system to show when changes had been made to the website. They wanted a more rounded and holistic system that would work better for these dual purposes.
Solution
The CCO looked into vendors in the data archiving space, but was discouraged by the pricing. While trying to justify the cost, he received an email from MirrorWeb, eventually booking a demo to see the platform, which he was impressed by. He brought it to the Senior Management Team, who opted for the web archiving solution to begin with, with a view to extending the service to email and further communications if things went well.
Result
The CCO has noted that the platform has been working smoothly, the pricing is very reasonable, and customer service has been fantastic, with the Customer Success Manager checking in frequently and responding to enquiries quickly. He aims to have the email, social media and instant messaging archiving set up soon due to how impressed he has been with the product and service so far.
